WOMEN IN THE BIBLICAL TRADITION (BIB--501-801, 2013-01)

Students will consider how women are portrayed in the Old and New Testaments. Attention will also be given to feminist hermeneutics and various views on the role of women in ancient societies. This course will be taught as a seminar, with student involvement and presentations constituting a major portion of the course.
