This course will explore the relationship between digital production and various career paths. Students will gain the essential skills needed to create content across multiple mediums, with an emphasis on strong storytelling. Additionally, the course will cover film criticism and review. We will also delve into the fundamentals of filmmaking, including screenwriting, and study the contributions of African American film producers and content creators throughout history. Over the semester, we will analyze a selection of short and feature-length films, reflecting on their broader societal impact.
