This course is designed to provide social work students with an advanced understanding of social research and the connection between research, theory, and practice. This course is one of two research courses for undergraduate social work majors. Students are required to complete SOW 342 (Introduction to Social Work Research Methods) prior to taking this course. The course enhances learners understanding of Evidence Based Practice, Program Evaluation, Single-Case Evaluation, Qualitative Inquiry, Measurement, and Analysis while learning the importance of accessing the library, electronic resources and professional journals.
