To familiarize learners with the major theories of counseling and psychotherapy including an examination of the worldviews and presuppositions of each theories primary founder. To develop in learners the ability to critique each theory from a Christian practitioner perspective for consistency with a Christian worldview and begin the process of evaluation for the integration of psychology and theology. To develop basic counseling helping skills.
